To complete a restore using Management Studio Express 2008

1. Open Management Studio Express 2008
2. Connect to the CAREWare instance using the SA account or Windows Authentication
3. Expand Databases
4. Right click on CW_Data
5. Select Tasks>Restore>Databases
6. Check the check box for From Device
7. Click Add
8. Browse to the location of the backup file * Make sure to chose All Files (*.*) from the Files of Type pull down menu
9. Highlight the CAREWare back and press OK
10. Press OK
11. Select the backup to restore by checking the Restore check box for the CW_Data database
12. Click on Options on the Select a Page column in the upper left corner
13. Check the Overwrite check box in Restore Options
14. Press OK
15. When the restore completes successfully click OK
16. Click New Query to open a new query window
17. Run the following query: Use CW_Data exec sp_changedbowner 'cwbt'
18. Restart the business tier service *
19. Login to CAREWare as normal
