Could not connect to the CAREWare server @ Servername

To resolve the error 'Access to the path "C:\Program Files\CAREWare\RW CAREWare Client Tier\XXX.XXX" is denied’ you will need to do the following using a Windows Administrator account:

  1. Login using the Windows Admin account
  2. Go to the RW CAREWare Client Tier
  3. Right click on the directory and select Properties
  4. Go to the Security tab
  5. Highlight the User group
  6. Verify that the Read/Execute, Write, Read, and List Folder Contents check boxes are checked for Allow
  7. Click Apply and then OK
