The ADAP Medication Import is for ADAP providers. The Medications Import is for all other providers. If you are using a non-ADAP domain, here are the instructions for adding the medications to the provider. If this is an ADAP provider, you can follow those steps for the Medications Import file and follow these steps below for the ADAP Medications Import file.
- Log into the ADAP provider domain
- Click Administrative Options
- Click ADAP Import
- Click ADAP Medication Setup
- Click Add File
- Browse for the ADAP Medications Import file you saved in the RW CAREWare Client Tier folder (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\CAREWare\RW CAREWare Client Tier Folder)
- Click Open
- Choose the medication you wish to add and Click Add NDC
You can use the search field above the medications list to search for a specific medication. There is an option to add a default fee for new medications. There is an options for using the NDC for generic or brand name medications as well.
