Why is there a primary key that is not used in the PDI Access template? Why is it needed if it isn't used to link anything?

Generally, in any database every table should have a primary key (PK) that uniquely identifies each record on the table. In the Access file, those keys may not be used to link to other things, but they are used in reports that the importer can create to identify records. For example, there may be an incoming client record that has a formatting problem. During the import, this will be flagged as a problem record and clicking on the report button will list this record on the report that shows what the problem is and what the PK of the record is. You can use this PK to go to the Access file and identify the specific record in that file to try to find out more information.
