Why do I get a permission error during the PDI import that says I have no read permission on a table in the Access file.

When the importer imports data, it has to make a special connection to the Access database. The details of this connection are not configurable by a user - they are hard-coded into the import module. The Access database must have an Admin user account with a blank password and that account must have full permissions on all tables. If not, the importer will not be able to read the data from the tables in the Access file and you will get an error. This is another reason we recommend that people creating the export file populate a copy of the template file rather than create a whole new Access file; The template file comes preconfigured with this account and all required permissions.
