Unable to delete deactivated medication in version 4.1 or 5

Users are not able to delete a medication from the medication import screen even if the medication is deactivated. In version 4.1 an error will be generated:

Column 'Abbreviation' does not belong to table cw_adap_ndc. at Client.MedicationImportSetup.LoadAvailableList(String filter, Boolean reloadFromFile) at Client.MedicationImportSetup.btnRemove_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) An error occured while removing a medication definition from the list of current definitions.

In version 5 nothing happens when you press Remove. The medication stays on the import list.
