Task Bar Problem

If I have the client screen open and then switch to another app, if I click on CAREWare in the taskbar, windows (XP) takes me to the CAREWare search results screen, which is completely locked down. I have to Alt+Tab to CAREWare, in which case the Client screen becomes active.
