Referral Class data disappear after record is saved

When making an outgoing internal referral, the referral class can be entered and saved along with the referral record. But if the referral record is opened for editing, the class value has disappeared. The referral record when opened in the site referred to, does include the class in the referrals record. When making an outgoing external referral and then editing the record, the referral class is retained.
