Map client with update generates error in HL7

In HL7 Client Mapping, when a user selects a client record and presses “Map Selected Client” the selected client that matched 100% but needed to be updated to use the client id from the incoming record. Then the user presses “Map Client with Update” an error is generated. Nothing is updated and the following error message portion is returned: 

@An error occurred while checking to see whether the URN is in use.  If the problem persists, please contact technical support.

The expected result for this event sequence is that the incoming record would be mapped to that client and the CAREWare client id would be updated to match the one from the incoming record.
