How to create a New Provider Domain

A new provider can be added to CAREWare by following the steps below:

  1. Log into the Central Administration domain
  2. Click Administrative Options
  3. Click Provider/User Manager
  4. Expand Real-Time Providers
  5. Right click Real-Time Providers
  6. Click Add Provider
  7. Name the provider
  8. Choose Initial Permissions from the drop down list if you want
  9. Click Add
  10. Right click on the new provider
  11. Click View Provider
  12. Expand the new providers permissions (it's the last option in the list)
  13. Click Provider Permissions
  14. Add the permissions this provider will have access to by right clicking any permission and choose Grant
  15. Click Save
  16. Click Close
  17. Right click User/Provider Assignment
  18. Click View Provider User Assignment
  19. Expand a User you wish to add to the new provider domain
  20. Right click on the new provider
  21. Click Grant
  22. Right click on the new provider again
  23. Click Go To
  24. Expand the user
  25. Click Individual Permissions
  26. Right click any permission and click Grant



Once a provider domain has been set up, complete the setup wizard in that domain by following the steps here on starting on page 24.



Once the Setup Wizard has been completed, add contracts to the domain following the steps here.
