Appointment status not changing correctly when scheduled service is entered

When service is entered that should satisfy a scheduled service appointment the appointment status is not changed from pending to met. Also, in some cases it changes to missed (after the grace period) even though the service has been delivered. Reported in build 533. Reproduced in build 539, 580.
