Users will now be able to assign individual users access to specific custom subform tabs using the providers/user manager. This will allow for groups of
users to access the individual custom fields they would use only for a client or for a provider to limit the clinical data viewed to the users with the
proper access.
The custom subform subtabs are named Subform A - E and can be granted individually to a user or provider domain. Once a subform subtab is granted to a user the setup
is similar to the setup of all other custom tabs. Each subform can be renamed for unique identification and each will allow for individual custom fields to
be assigned for clinical data entry. On the Central Administration domain the
To setup Custom Subform A - E on the Central Administration domain:
- Note: Permissions must granted for the provider domain users in order to access these tabs only. Central Administration users can create, edit, and view the subform tabs without assigning additional permissions.
- Login to the Central Administration domain
- Go to Administrative Options>Custom Features>Custom Subform Fields
- Click on F6: Domains by Tab
- Check each provider domain to map the subtab to too
- Change the Custom Subform Tab to desired permission group
- Check the check box next to each previously created custom field that should be enabled on the custom subform subtab
- Press Close
- Exit back to the Main Menu
How to grant a Custom Subform Permission Group permissions to an user account:
- Login to the Central Administration domain
- Go to Administrative Options>Provider/User Manager
- Expand Real-Time Providers
- Double click on the provider domain
- Expand Users, then expand the user account you would like to grant the permission to
- Click on Individual Permissions
- Type Permissions in the Filter Text box at the top
- Highlight and Right click on the appropriate Subform Permission A - E group for the user and select Grant
- Press F1: or click on F1:Save
- Escape or click on Esc:Close
