New labs, screenings, and screening labs can be added to CAREWare using the Clinical Encounter Setup. If a lab, screening, or screening lab is the equivalent of an RSR clinical test, that test's results can be included in RSR and ADR report results by selecting the equivalent HRSA-defined test from the Test Name for HRSA reporting list.
The following instructions are an example of adding a new screening lab and including the results of that screening lab in HRSA reports.
- Click Administrative Options.
- Click Clinical Encounter Setup.
- Click Screening Lab Setup.
- Click Add/Edit.
- Click Syphilis TREPSURE (or the name of the Syphilis lab screening being mapped).
- Click Edit.
- Click the drop down for Test Name for HRSA report.
- Click Syphilis.
- Click Save.
