CAREWare users are now able to import data from other EMRs and applications directly into CAREWare.
The PDI requires that a user convert their existing data into an Access template. The Access template and PDI manuals are available
here. The zip file includes a short data dictionary for all fields within the Access template. The documentation provided in the PDI Zip file also outlines the entire import process within CAREWare as well. Users will need to program a conversion of their current data into the Access template. Once the conversion of data into the Access template is complete a user will then be able to import the file into CAREWare. During the import process data mapping will be required prior to the actual addition of the data to the provider domain.
