RW CAREWare is freeware, so HIV/AIDS care providers that use RW CAREWare can direct funds that might otherwise be spent on software towards hardware, staffing needs, and client care. As the principal sponsor of RW CAREWare's development, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) distribute RW CAREWare worldwide as a free public service. Use of the application is governed by the terms of jProg's RW CAREWare
