The following steps will walk you through the upgrade procedure for CAREWare.
- Download the current CAREWare Business Tier from the HRSA CAREWare website.
- Locate the install file on your computer and double click on it. If you are prompted by a pop up window asking 'The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?' click “Run”.
- Click “Next”, check “Everyone” for the program to be accessed by everyone who uses this computer or “Just Me” for the program to be accessed by only the current user logged into the computer. Click “Next”.
- Click “Next” again, read the End User License Agreement and select “I Agree” if you do. Click “Next” again.
- Click “Close” when installation is completed.
- Login to CAREWare. You will be prompted to update the current tiers. Select “Yes” and allow the update to complete.
- Log back into CAREWare. You have now successfully updated CAREWare.
