How do I resolve Error Code 2869 during an installation?

You will need to complete an 'administrative install' in order to complete the installation process. To complete an 'administrative install' follow these steps:

For builds 864 and older:

1. Click on the Start button.
2. In the Search field type CMD (no quotes). (Do not press Enter)
3. In the search results field right click on Command Prompt
4. Click Run as Administrator
5. In the command prompt windows type the following
   msiexec /i x:\rwcarewarebusinesstiersetup.msi
   Where x:\rwcarewarebusinesstiersetup.msi is the path to the business tier setup you are trying to install
6. Complete the installation as normal
   

For builds 865 and newer:

1. Right click the install file
2. Click Properties
3. Click Unblock
4. Click Apply
5. Click OK
6. Click OK
7. Right click the install file
8. Click Run as Administrator
9. Complete the installation as normal
