CAREWare version 4.1

To run CAREWare 4.1 you must have .Net Framework 1.1 installed on your computer. Once you have installed the Redistributable Package you will need to download and install .Net 1.1 Service Pack 1

Hardware requirements for 4.1 are not very stringent, so if your computer is fairly new, you should not have a problem. You may to install the following applications in order for CAREWare to work properly:

  1. MDAC 2.8
  2. XML Parser 6.0
  3. Windows Installer 3.1

CAREWare version 5

The following files are required for a proper installation of CAREWare 5.0.

Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable

.NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package

.NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2, only for Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP. .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 is not available as a separate download on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 machines; on those you will need to install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, which includes .NET Framework 2.0 SP2.

Note: Download and install NetFx20SP2_x86.exe unless you are running a 64-bit machine.

Note: Windows 7 machines by default have .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. It also ships with Windows Server 2008 R2 as an optional component (disabled by default).
