Could not load file or assembly 'UCI_Generator, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. at jProgBusiness.jBusiness.jBusinessClient.ClientAdd(String GUIDToken, jClientAdd NewClientAdd, jBusinessShared BusinessShared, Boolean ignoreURN, String importHL7ProviderPK, Boolean skipClientPresearch)
The most often cause of this error is the file, UCI_Generator.dll, is missing from the business tier directory. You will need access to the business tier directory in order to resolve this error.
- Log in to the PC/Server where the business tier is installed.
- Go to C:\Program Files\CAREWare\RW CAREWare Business Tier.
- Search for the UCI_Generator.dll file in this directory.
- If the file does not exist, then download the zip file from here and place the UCI_Generator.dll in that zip file in the business tier directory.
- Open the CW Admin.exe and press Stop Server.
- Press Start Server.
- Open and log in to CAREWare as normal.
The UCI_Genrator.dll file may also be missing from the client tier directory. You can use the above steps to check for the file in the client tier directory at C:\Program Files\CAREWare\RW CAREWare Client Tier\. You will need to restart the business tier service after placing the DLL file into the client tier directory.
