The HL7 interface allows users to import data from the EHR applications Cerner, EPIC, and other applications that provide HL7 ADT interfaces.
This import process will allow for the importing of:
- Hospital Records
- Diagnoses
- Appointments
- Labs
- Services
- Immunizations
- Medications
- Poverty Level Assessments
- Insurance Assessments
- Annual Review Screenings
- Referrals
The
HL7 ADT Interface will continually monitor EHR feeds for incoming clinical data. As data is picked up during monitoring it will be imported into a CAREWare document database. Once the data is in the document database it will then be sent to CAREWare for use.
This will allow for the ongoing importation of clinical data without the need for anyone to monitor or manually import data on an ongoing basis. Once the clinical data is available within CAREWare users will be able to run reports, find clients, and track patient records as they normally do in CAREWare.
