CAREWare has previously interfaced with specific US laboratories (LabCorp & Quest Diagnostics) to import data into CAREWare using their implementation of the HL7 format. With the inclusion of the Generic Lab Import engine users are now able to import their own lab data using a flat-file format or simple HL7 format.
The new generic HL7 import or Tab-delimited formats within CAREWare allows users to import lab data by exporting data in a simple file format. To get details about this feature you can download the format specifications at:
